I have people on my profile who always post bulletins saying things like OMG! myspace is giving out free playstation 3 I've go one and you could to. Click on the link below. And there are also people who send messages to my inbox about getting paid to do surveys? Anyone out there no whats up with this

Yes, that's SPAM and it's coming from advertisers. Same stuff you get in your email inbox, just through MySpace instead. Flag those messages as SPAM (there's an option for this in MySpace) to report them. And of course don't fall for any of it. I'm sure there are some real giveaways, but you won't get them as a message or bulletin. You'll see them as clickable ads in MySpace.
Reply:Keith's answer was better! You don't want to delete a friend or someone you just met because you think they are a bot! Sometimes normal people get virsus' on myspace and they just need to remove the code that put it there and change their password. Grays advice is flawed. Report Abuse

Reply:yes there are plenty of profiles like that. but sometimes my friends get viruses that post bulletins like that. but most of the time if you dont know them its a fake person advertising. just remember not everyone on myspace is real. be safe!
